WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF GROUP & CENTRE BASED ACTIVITIES?

The Group & Centre Based Activities support is designed to assist and encourage participants to join in community and participate in recreational and social group activities. The goal is to nurture an inclusive and stimulating environment in which participants are free to meet new people, make new friends, participate in activities, and learn new skills, while they are socialising and having fun.

During Group activities participants also develop important skills during Group & Centre Activities like planning and organising activities, using computers, or writing a resume.

Our staff are experienced and highly trained in the provision of assistance to individual participants. We have facilities and tools targeted to a variety of interests for participants in the Western Sydney region.

We offer a broad range of Group & Centre Based Activities and programs including:

• Arts and crafts
• Games ad trivia
• Cooking classes
• Music
• Sport
• Dance
• Gardening

Are you eligible?

If you are aged between 7 and 65, a local area coordinator as well as our support coordinators can help you to understand the NDIS, and help you with your application. If you have a child aged under 7, an early childhood partner can provide supports to children before they apply, and let families know if the NDIS is right for their child.
